Travis Zimbelman, D.P.M
Dr. Zimbelman’s journey into podiatry began long before he settled in Alabama. Originally from North Dakota, he interned with his brother, a practicing podiatrist in Prattville, which inspired him to pursue a career in this specialized field. After completing medical school and residency in Chicago, he and his wife Kristin moved to Alabama in 2008. Their family has since grown with two young children, and they recently relocated to Montgomery from Prattville, continuing their commitment to serve the community. “I pursued podiatry because I perceive it as a family-friendly field of medicine,” Dr. Zimbelman said. “I can keep a full work schedule, but being my own boss allows me to set aside time for my wife and two young children. “Located on Cotton Gin Road in Montgomery, at Southeastern Family Foot Care, the philosophy is simple yet powerful: to help patients resolve their foot problems, whether big or small, while ensuring each visit is a positive experience.
